Patient Advisor, Cancer and Cancer-related Issues

Biography:

Dr. Oren is active in counseling patients in cancer and cancer-related health issues. He is committed to helping patients and their families understand the nature of cancer, its diagnosis and treatment methods. He was most recently a member of the Voluntary Faculty of the University of Miami Medical School, as well as clinical professor of medicine. From 1973 until his retirement in 1999, he was in private practice in the fields of hematology, oncology and internal medicine.

Dr. Oren has chaired numerous boards and committees, including the Department of Medicine of Doctor's Hospital, Baptist Hospital's Cancer Committee, and has served as Field Liaison for Cancer, American College of Surgeons.
