Anxiety Disorders Center

Anxiety disorders include panic disorder (involving panic attacks) and phobias (e.g., agoraphobia, claustrophobia). Others include generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), social anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Separation anxiety occurs in children. These disorders are treated with psychotherapy and medications.
